As discussed on the phone, we will be hosting the 42nd Beirut Memorial Ceremony on October 23rd, and I wanted to push out an invite to the Association. Below are the pertinent details:
Who: 2nd Recon Bn
What: 42nd Beirut Memorial Ceremony
When: 23 October 2025 @ 0800
Where: 2nd Recon Bn Flagpole
Why: To remember and honor the Marines and Sailors who lost their lives on 23 October 1983.
Please let me know if you all want to attend. The ceremony will start at 0800 in conjunction with morning colors.
